Dr. Farhad Farbod

We have had very bad experience with this dentist Farbod in the last year and his wife Julie who is the office assistant. Following: - He doesn't play by the rules. He will charge you out-of network pricing even if he is In-Network with the insurance company. He will deny the fact. - He will refuse to submit proper medical records with the insurance company in order to get reimbursed and instead will try to charge you the amount. When you try to reason with him, he will say it will be taken care off but he will not do what is needed and instead harass the patient - The office also will refuse to disclose medical record with patient even after signing the HIPAA - Check DORA department and you will see he already has a few complaints against him. I should have checked this before. DORA obviously doesn't do anything but only give a warning and let the dentist continue as usual - They also charged the insurance for services that were not provided until we caught them doing that -… Its very hard to communicate with his office. They do this on purpose, try to escape due diligence, putting unnecessary burden on the patient - At your first meeting, he will promise to charge only In-Network even though he might be out-of-network with many insurance companies but he is lying. He doesn’t abide by his words. - After all the wrong doing, he will still try to woo you to go for the next appointment. It is quite possible he has recommended or performed services that may not have been required There are very good dentists out there. Please find a different one and save yourself a lot of headache.
