Dr. Adrian Guevara

His expertise, compassion, thoroughness, willingness to communicate with you off hours is simply amazing. He goes above & beyond to provide the best treatment. Don't waste your time going anywhere else.

Albeit he may have great ratings with some people does not mean his bedside manner will be acceptable for everyone. I feel that my concerns were brushed off and when I was concerned about something I was given the brush off that it will always look like that and I will have to live with it. WHAT? Isn't this where I go to get things like this taken care of? So $95 later I was told to get a certain kind of body wash (otc) that you can buy on Amazon and sent on my way. Still, with the problem I came it with oh and a side note when I couldn't remember a name of a doctor we were talking about I explained it was because I have a head injury (TBI) got a giggle and ok. Then I got grilled on doctors names and with my TBI I have short term and long term memory problems I kept saying I don't know until it was finally dropped. Kudos for making a patient feel horrible - I cried when I got home.

The doctor,nurses, and nurses aids are wonderful. The office staff was not. I was asked to leave my credit card at the front office while my procedure was being done. when I complained about leaving my card with a stranger and wanting to pay before going in I was told to pay after the visit. On the next visit I was almost chased out the door because I was leaving without paying. I had been told I didn't have to stop at the front by the nurse. When I called the office manager to complain she told me that "People with high deductibles don't want to pay their bills". I was also told that they loose thousands of dollars a month because of people that don't pay their bills. When I stated that I was being insulted she answered,"I think this office is not suited for you".

Spoke to him about preventive measures about a serious problem, I got the no proven benefit, evidence based medicine speech and then the grossest most disgusting display of poor judgement and for some who pay in cash,he stood in front of me, pretended to lay bills from a roll of cash on the table , do not have any confidence in this mans judgment.

First of all the other reviews are exactly right. Most of the staff is rude. The ladies at the front desk especially. Like 2 are nice. The wait is short for the most part because they need to move on to the next parient. Also, the doctor does come to see you but does let someone else even less qualified do his work. Not right at all! If Im paying for the Dr. I better get the Dr. Then when he knows he screwed up he doesn't even admit it. Then made a promise to fix it or send me to someone who would and fell through. Said he'd make it up for giving me more treatment. Sometimes you can't fix the damage you've done. Will never recommend him; in fact I warn people to never go there!

I am not sure who the negative reviewers were writing their review about. Dr. Guevara is always on time for my appointments and very thorough with his exams. Skin cancer runs in my family and he has listened to my concerns and the different treatment of other family members up north. After moving here where the sun can be an issue with skin cancer he has given me excellent advice on products to use to avoid future skin problems - and they were not expensive prescriptions, most were over the counter skin products. Like most doctors, the front staff let me know the costs before any procedures were done. Any financial issues - co-pay, deductible, etc. have always been a problem with insurance, not Dr. Guevara . I would recommend him highly. As for the person who didn't think she had to pay her co-pay before being treated - this is pretty much standard procedure here in El Paso.

Staff is so rude! All women serving one pompous doctor that you see for 2 seconds b4 you're handed off to a nurse. All procedures were done by the nurse not the doctor. Reception consist of a rude teenager who can't bill to save her life.

Please save yourself money and aggravation. They billed me for a no show that was a lie. I never miss appointments. Nasty attitude in business office. Smaller than a closet. The office is clean and modern. Unfortunately the doctor misdiagnosed my wife and then shouted at her when she asked if there were less aggressive treatments available for her condition. Would not give her any extra time although my wife offered to pay for a double appointment. This Dr. Is a real piece of work. Fortunately he is not the only dermatologist in town. I have never left a negative comment for any Dr. previously.

Because Dr Guevara is skilled in Mohs surgery, he successfully removed a large cancer from my hand and it totally healed without noticeable scarring! He explained every procedure and his assistant was also helpful and professional. The exam rooms are pleasant and clean. Dr Guevara and his staff are courteous and friendly. I highly recommend this facility and have told many friends about it. My overall rating for Dr Guevara is "4 stars"

I saw Dr. Guevara for a long time for a problem diagnosed as a derivative of staff? and was treated with multiple types of topical medications the problem is they did not work. I am not saying that he was different from other Dr.s in most ways but it seems to me as if Dr's depend too much on the opinion of other Dr's who have already treated but not cured the problem without running their own tests and that is what he did and instead of being angry at himself or the other Dr's he seems to take it out on his patients.
