Have you seen Dr. Alan Jarrett?

I had a clogged tear duct from a sinus infection. He thought an eyelash was contributing to the tearing. Pulled eyelash out with tweezer and later got a bill on top of my copay. Called to say that charging to pluck an eyelash at an office visit was deceptive. Office said that there was nothing they could do, and I must pay bill. I will never visit again.

Take a Number Please! This physician books two (cattle call-type) morning sessions, and one or two cattle call-type afternoon sittings daily. He packs the reception area to capacity three or four times a day with annoyed patients who are detained by an inattentive; inadvertent; heedless office that is negligent of others time. Patients wait multiple times per visit; minimally 60 to 90 minutes (average) and all grumble about the rudeness of their wait. His equipment is old, perfunctory, or antiquated. Exam rooms are cramped. His time with each patient is brief as well as perfunctory. This cattle call office makes the patient feel like a dispensable number.
