Dr. Zemsky placed an ICD unit in my husband's chest in a cath-lab procedure. He neglected to numb the surgical area completed and then continued cutting even when my husband was complaining he was in pain. Dr. Zemsky also placed the incision in such a way that as it began to heal it pulled open an older (one week) adjacent incision until we could literally see right down into his chest. He ended up back in the hospital, had to have the ICD replaced, and had to have a pic-line in his arm and endure IV antibiotic therapy that made him ill and eventually caused an allergic reaction. It was a nightmare, all thanks to Dr. Zemsky's mistakes.
