Have you seen Dr. Ali Afrassiabi?
December 23rd, 2011I agree with previous reviewer
I was so afraid of having a very long surgery done outside of a hospital. My surgeon said I should call his anesthesiologist and talk to him. Dr. Afrasiabi called me back about ten minutes after I called his number. He talked to me fr about 20 minutes. By the end I was comfortable with my decision. After a 9 hour surgery under general anesthesia I woke up immediately. I was surprised how alert I was. I had no pain and was not sick (a major concern of mine due to sat problems). I went home about one hour later. It was almost unbelievable. I had to look up dr. A on the Internet and when I saw his reviews here ihad to write mine.
July 28th, 2011Best experience I have had with surgery
I always get sick, horribly sick after surgery and anesthesia. I have had 5 surgeries, every time same story. I was so afraid to have an elective surgery done just because of possible vomiting afterwards. Dr. A explained the reasons for my nausea, and how he would prevent it. After 61/2 hours of surgery I woke up almost immediately, had no nausea and minimal pain. I went home in one hour. I was so excited I was telling my friends to go and have surgery.
