Dr. Amir Ali Damadi, MD

Dr. Damadi is heaven sent. He has saved my husband's life twice. 15 years ago he performed emergency surgery for a perforated bowel from a colonoscopy then last month again for a resection from a twisted bowel. His care of both my husband and myself during all of this was informative humane as was all the members of his staff that were involved. Getting office appointments is not easy though.

No stars would be better, he did my husbands surgery, when some complications arose, never called back and when calling office again the voice mail was full. This was my husbands 3rd surgery, first two not done by him-so we knew what to expect. He and Dr. Parker are a joke, they do not listen to the patient and the incision was so shoddy the sides do not even line up which left a skin flap on one side, mind you my husband is not an overweight man to have a flap of skin.

Terrible staff communication. They didn’t get pre authorization from insurance and that caused a two hour delay in colon surgery. Also didn’t tell my husband he needed Covid test/. Another hour delay. Dimadi sliced into my husband’s bladder during the colon surgery and that added extra hours to the surgery. Nobody kept me abreast of the time table. The whole hospital shut down and the floor polishing GI came around and not a word from damadi team. Husband was n the hospital for 16 days for a “3-5” day operation. Look around for another team

Referred by another general surgeon to him due to complicated rectal cancer that was involving my wife's uterus. Dr. Damadi is no non sense but at the same time Kind, compassionate and through. He got my wife through treatment and surgery exactly as he had initially explained to us. It is difficult to get through to his office but it's likely because he is very much in Demand. Overall, I would recommend him and his staff very highly.

Excellent doctor, compassionate and very knowledgeable. The best in his field. He does surgeries that other surgeon refuse to do due to complications & sensitivity.

I never leave reviews but Dr. Damadi was very rude and disrespectful and I’ve never been this uncomfortable at a Dr’s office ever! Talks down to his patients and does not listen or care! Very disappointed.

Stay away from this one. He'll say whatever to get you to do some type of surgery then play it off about the hospital denying you if you don't do it. Just do yourself a favor and stay away from him.

Operated on my Father who is elderly and not in best of health. His skill set in the operating room and how kind he was to him and my mom were beyond words. Highly recommended.

Did an amazing job getting my 88 year old mom through cancer surgery. She was in hospital only 2 days. Never had pain. Great team, hospital, and doctor.
