My girlfriend went to this doctor for a lesion in her genital region. She was given a salve and told not to worry about it. When she had another of these so-called lesions occur in the same area she had it checked with a reliable ob/gyn who did a swab test. Three days later she got the news it was Herpes Simplex II. This lackluster excuse for a doctor never gave her any in depth information about how 'not' to spread the herpes. He just told her 80% of the population has herpes? I have asked my own physician about it and was told Dr. William's numbers were wildly inaccurate. There are ways to minimalize the risk of your partner getting herpes and he never bothered to share any of that info. A person who is infected with herpes can spread it to other parts of their own body, such as their fingers and eyes. Since it is not a curable affliction one would think that their doctor would do his/her best to minimalize the patient's discomfort. This isn't my only complaint about this guy, but you get the picture. He is incompetent at best. If you have anything remotely serious seek medical care in Syracuse, Albany or Burlington.
