Dr. Schiwek is wonderful.But the office staff is mediocre. Receptionists do not acknowledge you even when you're standing right in front of their window. Basic courtesy is required big time - if you're doing something, establish eye contact, pleasant facial expression and say "I'll be right with you" rather than ignoring the waiting patient. It makes a lot of difference. Waiting for even 20 seconds will seem like an hour with no acknowledgement. It will make a lot of difference! Remember, people who are there are patients - we are sick - we need caring people and it starts with the staff first encountered when entering a doctor's office.
Dr. Schiwek is an excellent doctor. She takes her time with you and keep you informed of your health, and what you have to do to keep your sugar numbers normal.
