Biography & Background: Dr. Frisch received her Medical Degree from the Medical University of Lodz, Poland in 1999 and received her PhD in the year 2002 with her dissertation topic on Diabetes and Stroke. Dr. Frisch completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine affiliate hospital St. Vincent%u2019s Medical Center and a Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism, & Lipids at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, Georgia. She also trained at the Joslin Diabetes Center and Mayo Clinic. Dr. Frisch is certified by American College of Endocrinologists to perform ultrasound guided biopsy of the thyroid and certified by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry as a clinical Densitometrist. Dr. Frisch is a current member of The Endocrine Society and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. She received numerous awards and has been named to the list of Top Physicians of America and received and the prestigious award by the Polish Ministry of Health for the cycle of publication on molecular mechanism of action of antiplatelet agents. Over the past several years Dr. Frisch main focus is clinical aspects of diabetes and endocrinology with main focus on cardiovascular impact of diabetes and hyperglycemia. She presented numerous lectures at local, national and international meetings. She is also author and coauthor of over 30 publications.
