Rotator cuff surgeries show details Rotator cuff surgeries
by Ted S. Groff on Jan 20th, 2014

Dr. Flores repaired a badly-torn rotator cuff, right shoulder, in 2004. Nine years later, no problems. In 2012, my left shoulder rotator cuff torn almost completely away from the bone, Dr. Flores performed a 4-pin surgery to re-attach the rotator cuff to the bone. Even at age 74, I have not had any real problems with this shoulder since. Although somewhat to the point, Dr. Flores always took the time to answer my questions thoroughly and to explain the problem and what needed to be done. I also found him to be a caring and compassionate person. Without reservation I recommend Dr. Flores as an excellent surgeon for rotator cuff problems.

this office has poor communication and lack of concern for patient show details this office has poor communication and lack of concern for patient
Nov 6th, 2013

Dr. Flores is a good surgeon. However, it is very difficult to work with this office as you feel you see a lot of people and no one listens or cares. This is a high volume ortho office and it seems the volume is more than caring for the patient. On the medical side you have the PA, the Dr and the medical assistant. Each one has a different role and none communicate well. If you are in pain after the surgery, you need to leave a message for the medical assistance. Even though they state if you leave a message they will call back by end of day, but many times they don't. Each time there an excuse. It is just a very difficult experience for a patient and you are left feeling like they care as much as getting the bill paid but that is about it.
