Review for Dr. Antonio R. Gargiulo I recently had surgery performed by Dr. Antonio R. Gargiulo, and I am beyond grateful for his outstanding care. I had been suffering from ongoing pelvic pain for nearly 20 months, and since the surgery, that pain is now completely gone. What started as a standard procedure turned into a much more complex surgery due to rare and unexpected findings. Dr. Gargiulo handled everything with precision, professionalism, and exceptional surgical skill. The most significant discoveries included: A left ovarian remnant with deep endometriosis and palisading granulomas with central necrosis – a rare and highly unusual finding that required careful surgical removal. Deep endometriosis in the left pararectal space Endometriosis in the left posterior vaginal cuff Adhesions and inflammation involving the bladder, abdominal wall, and peritoneum Fibrous and smooth muscle-lined adhesions in the pelvic sidewall and surrounding tissues A parasitic fibroid was found in the… cardinal ligament, adjacent to the left ureter and bladder. The left ureter was closely associated with the fibroid growth", and the fibroid was dissected in its entirety These findings made the surgery especially challenging, but Dr. Antonio R. Gargiulo remained calm, focused, and incredibly skilled throughout the entire process. He explained everything clearly, made sure I felt supported, and most importantly, gave me my quality of life back. His entire team, from the nurses to the office staff, were also amazing. They were professional, kind, and made me feel comfortable and cared for every step of the way. The level of compassion and coordination they showed truly made a difference in my experience. To any woman looking for a great doctor, especially for complex gynecological or endometriosis-related care, I highly recommend Dr. Antonio R. Gargiulo. And to anyone reading this review, please don’t hesitate. You will be in the best hands possible. I am so thankful I found him and trusted him with my care.

Dr. Garguilo is the best of the best when it comes to a women’s health doctor! He is brilliant, skillful, and kind. He knows how to easily identify and fix any women's health issue that others have misdiagnosed or simply said were too challenging to identify. Growing up, I always had terrible monthly cycles that would come every three weeks and would cause me to vomit and faint. The gynecologist put me on birth control to help with the pain. When my first child was two years old, I woke up one morning feeling some pelvic pain. After two days, the pain drastically increased and felt like a combination of strong pressure and labor pain even though I was not pregnant or on my cycle. The pressure caused me to feel like I had to go to the bathroom every 10 minutes. I immediately called and went to the gynecologist. Over the next 10 months, I made five trips to the gynecologist, several trips to the urologist, one trip to my primary care doctor, tried two different kinds of medicine, and… went through two rounds of physical therapy for a very tight pelvic floor. The drastic pressure and pain settled into a daily pressure that felt like a baby’s head. This daily pressure would increase as the day went on especially after I ate or went to the bathroom, eventually turning into stabbing pain by the end of each day. No one knew what was wrong since my ultrasounds looked normal, the birth control was supposed to help women’s health issues, and my fibroid hadn’t been growing. The sudden pain didn’t make sense to anyone. Both of my pelvic floor therapists told me that I needed to go to a specialist since they couldn’t fix my pelvic floor which meant there had to be an underlying issue. I called Dr. Garguilo’s office after hearing a woman I didn’t even know talk about how he was one of the best doctors in the country for removing endometriosis and fibroids and after reading his reviews online. When I met him, he was the kindest person, had read through about 500 pages of my medical records, immediately said that fibroids can cause pressure and pain, and recommended a surgery. In surgery, he removed all of my 5 fibroids robotically (I didn’t even know I had that many) and found that one had a carneous degeneration (this causes the type of pain I had) and that my uterus had been distorted from the fibroids. He did such a skillful job that I felt excellent after the surgery. It’s now been almost three weeks since my surgery and my body already feels so much better. I will start physical therapy again soon and am so thankful to Dr. Garguilo for his expertise in knowing that fibroids cause pressure and pain and for his skill in performing such a successful surgery. He is truly the best!

If you have had your tubes tied and want it reversed, he is the expert to go to. I visited Dr. Gargiulo in 2018 for a tubal reversal, and we are incredibly grateful for the work he did to help us conceive our son (now a 4year old). Dr. Gargiulo has the heart of a saint. He was easy to talk to and exceptional at explaining the process every step of the way. We will be forever grateful.

I really could not recommend enough Dr Gargiulo. Not only he is such a knowledgeable and experienced REI, but he is also an exceptional human being. We were lucky to meet him on our path through infertility. His extensive experience, his patience and dedication were critical as we moved through the IVF process. Dr. Gargiulo and his team at the Center for Reproductive Care are amazing. When I was diagnosed with stage 4, severe endometriosis and multiple large uterine fibroids, he told me that I would need to have it all removed and that there might only be a 25% chance of conceiving naturally after that. I was trying to mentally prepare myself for needing IVF. About 7 months after my surgery, I became pregnant with my first child spontaneously. He is the best of the best and I am positive that not just any surgeon could have done what he did. I even had endometriosis on my diaphragm! I mean, it was everywhere….Along with multiple adhesions. He spent nearly 6 hours operating on me when he initially thought it would be a much shorter procedure than that. He took the time to do the best possible job and if you could see a picture of my healthy, now 16 month old….thats proof enough! Dr.Gargiulo is one amazing man and doctor. I had fetility issues, and severe endometrosis, and he is a blessing with such a gift. Not only does he have the best genuine care for his patients and bed side manner, but his work does wonders. I was in such severe pain and he took all the pain away and I feel amazing.
