I found Dr. Haas to be rude as well, especially when I brought up a medical condition I have had since I was 15 years old. She insisted it could never have been caused by the injury I described. Really?? The neurosurgeon who treated my injury all those years ago carefully explained it to me so I would (a) be aware of physical deterioration I could expect as I got older, and (b) could relay that info to future doctors so they could take it into account when treating me. (The injury was so long ago that medical records no longer exist.) I researched it again and, yes, I was right. That was the second time in three visits we had a difference of opinion on symptoms/diagnosis. I don't expect a family practitioner to be proficient in specialty medicine, but I do expect the practitioner to realize (s)he hasn't heard of everything. . .and that sometimes the patient is right!
did not listen to me. seemed to have her own agenda. was rude, but in a nice way, so i would not get mad. but it did make me feel very upset for days.
