Dr. Anupam Srivastava, MD

I have found Dr. Srivastava to be kind and attentive to my needs during my three years with him. The difficulty has been getting prompt responses for prescription requests. It caused me anxiety when I needed the prescriptions, was told they would be called in that day and yet days later they still were not. So my issue is not with the medical expertise of the doctor. I give him a very high rating - the issue is the poor administrative response to my calls and requests. I hope that can soon be ironed out. He is too good of a doctor to be blemished with an easily correctable remedy.

Saw doctor on three occasions for thyroids nodules...ultrasounds and biopsies. He doesn't speak during procedures to let you know what he is doing, and when communicating concerns about your condition, he replies with dead silence. You might as well be talking to a wall. I was referred to him for nodules and a biopsy and he asked me why I was there and told me he had no labwork and that nodules and abnormal lab values (that my PC doc sent me to him for) were "no big deal." I never even got a call back with my biopsy results. He said in my chart that he did a physical exam, and never once did he actually do one during any of my three visits. I will be finding a new doctor, and would advise anyone to steer clear of this one. Not a single positive thing about any of my experiences with him.

Was told biopsy results would be in by last Friday and still waiting late Tuesday. Called Friday, Monday and Tuesday. Was promised a call by end of day Tuesday and nothing. Please either don't give unrealistic expectations or simply pick up the phone and give me the news. Think as if the shoe were on the other foot.

Wouldn’t trust him with my hemorrhoid let alone my thyroid. Increase my dosage by 40% at a time? I'm no expert, but I pretty sure it doesn't work like that and leave you feeling sell. TSH levels went way high and he said everything was normal. I said bye-bye! Also spends no time with the patient during the visit despite no other patients in the office.

Worst doctor I ever had. Not sure about diabetes but I feel this doctor totally lacks knowledge of osteoporosis and treating it. Also I think he is scared of insurance companies.

Did not allow proper time to digest information he provided. Did not allow time for questions following what little information he provided. He did this two appointments in a row. Office was not busy so it was not like he had to run off to his next patient. Will give him one more chance after I tell him 5 minutes and no information is not acceptable. Hope he reads his reviews!

My issue with him is that he kept throwing insulin at my issue. I got really sick and he did not run any other tests. He gave me more insulin. My sugar still did not go down.

I am a a registered nurse and I am high expectations for my health care. Dr. S did a thyroid biopsy on me. I was pertrified and he was so very reassuring, gentle and fast; it was almost a breeze! I had seen him about 4-5 times while he was still at Pinnacle. He has always taken time with me and thoroughly explained everything. He is very courteous, easy to understand and also very bright and organized.

I have seen this physician from last 2 years in both pinnacle health and his new office. He is an extremely intelligent and courteous doctor. I am so glad he is my physician and have recommended him to so many people. Everyone we know has been fully satisfied with his services.

You can be a good doctor medically, but can never be a great one if you lack patient empathy and respect. Because of unforeseen circumstances, I have canceled and re-scheduled my appointment not just once, but multiple times. Today, I called his office to re-schedule once again; however, I was told that Dr. Srivastava directed his front office to tell me that they will not re-schedule and that I will no longer be given care by his office. While I understand that Dr. Srivastava need to make money to keep his practice, I felt that I was mistreated and disrespected as a patient. His lack of empathy to a patient's situation and circumstances makes him the worst doctor I have ever dealt with in my entire life. Needless to say, I will not recommend him at all. How I wish this site allows zero star rating.
