Dr. Ari C Greis

History and physical exam very brief. His assistant failed to order my mri and denied it, even after I verified it twice with the insurance co. For my cortisone injection, Dr. Greis, told me one thing during the procedure, that the numbing med was going to burn. That was it! It would have been nice to have comments from him during and after the procedure. Nancy the tech/nurse during the procedure was outstanding! Kind and informative.

Great doctor. Came up with a effective plan for my back treatment.

This was my 1st visit with Dr. Great and it was awesome. He was very personable, professional and respectful.

Dr. Greis is very knowledgeable, caring, pleasant and respectful. I would highly recommend Dr. Greis.

Meeting Dr Greis was as though I took him from something far more important than me the patient. Unaware of my age, he asked why was I not diagnosed as a child with scoliosis. DUH- that was not done during my childhood. After hearing how wonderful Rothman was, I left sorely disappointed. A smug bedside manner is disheartening. My pain was not acknowledged, my weight certainly was. At 50 pounds overweight, that doesn't mean that my pain does not exist. Does a patient's weight give the Dr the freedom to behave disdainfully? On another visit, I had with the PA, Dr Greis, in the open back office area turned his back to me instead of smiling or greeting me. It was an obvious slight, and so rude. Bottom line? Go find another Dr. FAST

After waiting 2 months for a visit, Dr Greis did not treat me as a patient but rather a diagnosis. He proceeded to tell me at my age I should stop playing tennis! He didn’t consider I was an athlete. I found him to be insensitive and cavalier. In fact, he never examined me until he was leaving then, as an afterthought, proceeded to check the affected leg not both! This is not in sinc with Best Practices. I would never recommend him to anyone and I am surprised to see all of those high ratings.

Dr. Greis has my greatest respect. I found him very caring, sincerely interested in helping me with my pain, getting to the bottom of the cause, and above all truly honest with me, in following up with future care.

Because of his excellent reviews, I hoped he would be a kind and inquiring doctor for my back pain. He spent about five minutes with me, tested my reflexes, told me to get an MRI and wrote a script for physical therapy. I felt very depressed and discouraged after talking to him. He made me feel as if I were bothering him with my problem.
