I am not a big fan of hit and run but in this case I stuck around for the ticket. In all fairness I will begin with the fact that I agree the Doctor is a great Doctor. His weakness may be in running his front office. His front office is useless, rude and clueless! If you have time to burn, an enormous amount of magazine subscriptions, and/or belong to several book clubs this is your office!Short and sweet they scheduled me at 3rd party medical facilities without notifying me of the appointments. They scheduled me at 3rd party medical facilities with locations that did not even perform the specific test that I was scheduled for. I sat in the Doctors Patient Room for over an hour and left without being seen. I was promised the first appointment of another day as a do-over and again was forgotten about and not seen by the Doctor. The receptionist told me that someone would get back to me when the second appointment went bad. Three weeks later, I called to speak to the Doctor directly because no one ever got back to me. In the Doctors defense, he wrote me an explanation letter and outlined my test results thoroughly AND he rescheduled my appointment for the first appointment of the day (10/12/11) to ensure there would be no wait time. When I arrived on-time on 10/12/11, I walked up to the counter, signed in and listened to the front office woman complaining to a co-worker about a patient being upset that he had not been seen yet at 8:45. She was not very approachable or in the mood for questions. THE RESULT OF MY VISIT SHE NEVER PULLED MY FILE AND I SAT FOR OVER AN HOUR AND DID NOT SEE THE DOCTOR. AGAIN!!! She asked rudely if I had signed in, and then even suggested that it was my fault for not going up to ask why I have not been seen. So, somehow it was my fault? priceless. To end the craziness, I took the unwarranted blame, requested my medical file and FIRED both the Doctor and his office. So, this is not a hit and run. 1st time, shame on them 2nd time, shame on me The 3rd and 4th time, what was I thinking??I searched Google for the Doctor. He gets 5/5 stars as a Doctor, but his scheduling and wait times rank in the 3/5 range. I agree.Arnold Braasch

Dr Tillinghast is in it for the long haul, for myself and several other patients, he cares far beyond the normal level and has the calm wisdom you look for but dont often find.
