Dr. Arturo C Arauzo, MD

In the several years that I have seen Dr. Arauzo, he prescribed (and tried to prescribe) MANY prescriptions that I did not need. It became my responsibility to figure out what to trust and what not to trust in what he said or advised. In my last several appointments with him, he began making sexist comments, like "women don't usually worry about financial well-being." Recently, he stopped taking insurance and his office called my husband out of the blue to schedule an appointment because it had been a while, however, they neglected to tell him or remind him that insurance would no longer be accepted and when my husband walked out of Dr. Arauzo's office, he was given a bill over three times what it would have cost with his insurance coverage. This seems to me like dishonest business practice and is frankly infuriating. If you would like to be over-medicated and over-charged, go right ahead. If you would like to see a provider you can trust, do not see this man.

Dr. Arturo helped me tremendously! I haven't had to seek professional help since he treated me over 15 years ago! Great doctor!

I have a severe form of depression (treatment resistant) along with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD.) Dr. Arauzo is the best psychiatrist in the treatment of these 2 ailments. He has been very attentive to my needs and frequently follows-up with medication changes. I can't say enough good things about this doctor and about the strength of his character (integrity, honest and ethical.) Dr. Arauzo literally saved my life even though he refuses to take credit for anything he's done for me. He treats me like a normal person - not a mentally ill patient. That means the world to me.

I stopped seeing Dr Arauzo because he has a temper and he is very rigid. It is his way or the highway. I placed an emergency call to him once and he was very angry. I was very uncomfortable with him. He was good as an inpatient doctor, but I was VERY disappointed in his outpatient practice.

I have been helped by Dr. Arauzo for many years and I can not say enough good things about him. I am very pleased with his committment to helping me. I have sever ADD and depression and I am a very sucessful business owner with the help of Dr. Arauzo

Been calling for 3 days, every hour to get an appt! No answer!!
