Dr. Arwa Khaleel Ibrahim Abu Rizik, MD

Got in on the same day. She was kind and compassionate. The appointment ran over but she did not rush us.

I met Dr Aburazik in the VA white team clinic. We were sad to see her graduate. She is listed as a psychiatrist but she is an internist too. She is efficient, thorough, smart and has a sense of humor! I had a problem with her being a psychiatrist, thinking she would not be fully trained to be an internist as well. But I found her to be up to par if not better than her cohort!

I am a difficult person. Dr. Aburizik was a good listener and addressed my needs. She responded to my calls quickly and answered my questions. I like her as my doctor.

I recommend this doctor. She has combined training in Internal medicine and psychiatry and I felt she understood and explained medications better than other psychiatrists I had met.

She was personable, took her time to listen and identify the problem and give an accurate diagnosis. She was prompt to respond to phone calls. I was frustrated by the length of time to get in to the psychiatry clinic at the U of I. But once we met with her she was accommodating and allowed us to be seen in her reserved time. She was a pleasure to work with

I didn't like her very much because she was judgmental. If I cared for her opinion then it would have exacerbated my problem.
