It’s been a while since I’ve been treated, but I’d moved to WA state, and my doctor ended up referring me to fly back to Chicago to get treated by Dr. Vargas. His touch was amazing, and he was able to quickly address my bodies concerns, and fix the issue. I couldn’t thank him enough for how he helped me.

very unprofessional...i was injured at work but i havent received my work compensation because Dr. Vargas have no time to sent my paper work.to work comp.

I was in a lot of pain and Dr Vargas listened to everything I said. He ended up diving me a total of three epidurals in a year and I was almost pain free for two years. Several years later I went back to him and had three more epidurals over the following six months or so. After that, I was pain free for maybe five years. Now the pain is back and I'll be contacting him again. I thought he was an extremely caring and kind man.

Dr. Vargas is an outstanding and caring specialist with great bedside manners and great results. I had a chronic pain syndrome and tried everyone in town as well as in New York city where I lived, until Dr. Vargas finally took care of me, and after placing a Spinal Cord Stimulator my chronic pain IS GONE for ever!!

I am a patient of Dr. Vargas; I was referred to him by my Spine Surgeon, whom coincided with my primary doctor that Dr. Vargas indeed was the "best pain specialist in Chicago"; furthermore when I found that hecwas the physician for the Chicago Bears and other prominent figures, I was very encouraged.He is indeed a magic worker and a very accessible and caring doctor!!! He helped me tremendously and I have continued to refer many of my friends and family to him.

I am a patient of Dr. Axel Vargas. I was referred to him by one of his own patients, a CHICAGO BEARS player, whom had been successfully treated by Dr. Vargas in the past. He raved about how good and caring Dr. Axel Vargas was, how sleek and effective his treatment was and how many other CHICAGO BEARS' players and staff were his regular patients as well,,, I thought, if is goo for the CHICAGO BEARS definitely is good for me,!!!! And sure enough he was!!!!!

Dr. Axel Vargas took care of me at his IBJI office; he is a superb professional with outstanding bedside manner, impressive credentials, equally impressive expertise and very caring. I had seen many pain specialists and Dr. Vargas was the only one to be able to help me, and now I am pain free. I was referred to him by several other patients that had been under his care and that where equally impressed. He works with Dr. Gary Shapiro whom is quite good as well.Finally, this website (vitals) has extremely inaccurate information about Dr. Vargas.
