Dr. Azita Moalemi, MD

Today I had my first visit with Dr. Azita Moalemi. I had a concern about a heart diagnosis that I found out I didn’t have. What great news that was to me. She able to explain to me with pictures and diagrams to show what was normal and wasn’t. She check me over to reassure me that my heart was fine. I would recommend her to anyone that needs understanding, lessons 101, to reach to her and make an appointment. Thank you Dr. Moalemi. I’m glad I’m fine but if I need a cardiologist in the future here I come.??

I have been seeing doctor Moalemi for over 20 years for my heart problems. She has saved my life multiple times and always treats me with so much care and kindness. She is extremely knowledgeable and her medical advice has always been on point. I am lucky and grateful for having such an amazing doctor and I highly recommend her.

Dr. Moalemi and the entire staff are wonderful and I highly recommend Dr. Moalemi. For years my cholesterol soared higher and higher but I am that one in a thousand that had a severe adverse reaction to cholesterol meds. I had to choose quality of life over quantity of life. A new family practice doctor referred me to Dr. Moalemi and ran two tests that now qualify me for a new cholesterol therapy without taking statins. Dr. Moalemi has literally saved my life.

Dr. Moalemi is a very compassionate doctor who listens to her patients. As a consequence, the wait times are incredibly long. I’ve waited for over an hour to see her. It’s uncomfortable and cold to sit in the waiting rooms staring at the walls. Additionally, Dr. Moalemi takes the time to answer your questions but I wish she volunteered more up front instead of me being forced to pull out the information. I think she’s perhaps spread too thin with the large numbers of patients she sees each day.

Dr. Moalemi is wonderful. I would strongly recommend her. Just make sure to allow at least 2 hours for your appointment - that is after you get to the exam room. My appointments have never started on time and I usually spend more then half an hour waiting in the exam room.

Dr. Moalemi is a wonderful, caring physician. I have been a patient for over 9 years and consider myself so fortunate to be under her expert care. Her practice is welcoming, efficient and highly professional. I, and my family, trust her and know she is truly committed to our health and we'll-being.

Dr. Moalemi took care of my husband through bypass surgery. Her thoroughness, caring, and sensitivity made all the difference.

My father has been a patient of Dr Moalemi's for the last 15 years. She is by far the most caring physician I've ever encountered. She never makes one feel rushed and listens attentively. Her office staff are friendly and helpful and the surgeons she works with are outstanding. Dad has progressive heart disease, and multiple times over the years she diagnosed blockage situations before they resulted in a heart attack or worse. Each time she connected him with a capable surgeon who placed life saving stents. She does not fool around, sending dad directly to the hospital upon determining the blockage. Dr Moalemi remains in constant with the patient and surgeons before, during and after surgery. Unbelievably, she calls to check on Dad at home after a procedure or medication adjustments. She even stopped by the hospital after hours to check on dad after unrelated bladder surgery. It is evident that she deeply cares about her patients. Even though I live out of state, Dr Moalemi doesn't… hesitate to keep me informed. When Dad became ill while vacationing in Florida, she gladly called and consulted with the medical staff there, following his course of treatment. Amazing! This level of involvement provides great relief to the patient and family. Because of Dr Moalemi, we know beyond a doubt our 84-year old Dad's life has been significantly extended. She is a role model for all physicians and a truly remarkable person!
