Dr. Benjamin Dave Margolis, MD

I have never left a doctors appointment feeling so uncomfortable and violated. Aside from not being able to finish a sentence about my concerns and questions regarding my sleep health, due to Margolis cutting me off each time, I received unsolicited advice about countless things that had nothing to do with why I was there. He put his hand on my stomach and told me "you'll want to tone this" and told me I needed to sort my posture out. All of which were completely unrelated to my request for a sleep study. Do not waste your time or energy seeing this dr. His lack of bedside manor and professionalism don't begin to cover why I am so disappointed in this visit. I would give 0 stars if I could...

Terrible bedside manner. Does not listen to patient.

Dr. Margolis overmedicated my father resulting in my father's illness and death. He also made inappropriate comments to cover up his error. I realize that doctors make errors like every one else, but if he had been an honest man, my father would be alive now. One of the nurses at the hospital told me that this was not the first time Dr. Margolis had overmedicated a patient. Beware of this man!

Dr. Margolis saved my mother's life on multiple occasions. She had moderately severe emphysema from smoking. When she was found to have a lung mass at the age of 81, Dr. Margolis gave her very tender care and diagnosed her with lung cancer. She wanted surgery and he was there by her side every step of the way. She died at age 97 and he made sure with pulmonary rehab that she would be able to hopefully survive the surgery. His skill and intelligence and knowledge are outstanding. You will know you are in the right hands after you see him. I sometimes hear people say they do not prefer a doctor because of his/ her demeanor. Think again. .... Outstanding physicians are serious and will tell you like it is. Dr Ben. As we called him is one of the best!!!
