Have you seen Dr. Bernd Remler?
July 29th, 2017Too sure of himself
Dr Bernd Remler, neuro-opthalmologist at the Medical College of Wisconsin, misdiagnosed my autoimmune encephalitis as 'migraine' (despite continuous symptoms without headache). He was pretty adamant too. He prescribed a diuretic for 'migraine', even though me and his assistant warned that I had low blood pressure. He did not listen nor care. He did not look at my records and spent <5' in the room. Of course the prescription did not work, and made me faint... MCW also misread my PET scan as normal (several abnormalities were found at Mayo). I'd avoid this clinic.
