I left his office in tears. I am 5'9" and weigh 155 lbs he said I had back problems because I was overweight! He was talking to me like I was 300 lbs overweight! As he was checking me, he told me to roll over so he could dig into the "flab" in my stomach!! I was flabbergasted as the nurse (who was 300lbs) was smiling. He then lectured me on smoking, not knowing he was going to charge me for a smoking cessation fee of $50!! Then he proceeded to tell me that the only drug he uses to relieve pain was methadone!!?? I have never been on this before, as I was currently taking oxycodone 10/325. Well, first I can't believe a Dr. Would actaully believe that all his patients are the exact same and would continue to treat them that way. Well, the methadone messed me up!! I was falling asleep at restaurants, I was completely out of it! He said I would be able to take this at work, but as a hairstylist, I knew that was not a good idea! I still can't believe a doctor could be so irresponsible. That was the first and last time I ever visited him. I was then referred to Dr. Seratto, whom I love and is very professional. I should have known waiting for Dr. Berryman and NO ONE was in the waiting room. Dr. Seratto has at least 50 people at any given time, but he is definitely worth the wait!! Also in all the rooms Dr. Seratto has, he has at least 4 certificates/diplomas in all his rooms of all his studies and achievements. I never saw one for Dr. Berryman. I would not recommend this Dr. to my worst enemy! Beware methadone is very dangerous and it is NOT MEANT FOR EVERYONE!! As he believes!!
