Dr. Boris Nulman, MD

I've had spinal steroid shots on four occasions under Dr Nulman. He has always been very patient and makes sure that I'm not feeling any pain during the procedure. He patiently explained everything before the procedure and let me know each step during the procedure. He has a good sense of humor and is easy to talk to. I really appreciate the level of care I received.

I have had 3 cervical spine injections done, one several years ago and 2 in the past 4 months. He is very kind and helps to educate me as a patient in how to help alleviate at home without narcotics. He asks alot of great questions in order to help deliver the best result for me. He always makes sure I'm comfortable during the procedure and that I am never in any pain. He always makes sure I know what he is doing each step of the way and always follows up with me after the procedure before I leave. I highly recommend Dr. Nulman.

I would not recommend this man nor his team. First time delivering, and I was delivering with twins!. He is very rude, unprofessional and unsympathetic! Him and his team tryed 3 times for my spinal since I had to have a c-section with twins. Which my husband and I knew we had to have a c-section. Not sure if they missed or it just didn't work or what went on but it clearly didnt work. Not sure if he was just tired, bad mood or frankly if hes always this way but it was 5-5:30am when I was in the OR. He kept doing his poke test on shoulder to leg, shoulder to abdomen (to see how far I was numb). And I felt every poke, and i expressed that. For whatever reason apparently he gave the okay for the delivering doctor to start the c-section because I felt both cuts that delivering doctor did. After I expressed I felt that, he had the audacity to argue with me "it's the pressure" I feel. Excuse me I'm the one getting sliced open and I feel it all! Dont stand there and argue with me "it's… only pressure" for what felt like 5mins. Than he gives me an ultimatum saying if I feel the cut's they will have to put me under and my husband wont beable to witness the birth of our twins. Youre really gunna throw that at me! To make a decision (I'm already emotional about) feel every pain while someone cuts layer after layer after layer in to my abdomen, so my husband can witness our first kids coming into this world, their first cries, our first delivery experience, our first for everything! Or to be put under anesthesia and neither one of us gets to experience any of it! Yes I even contemplate both for a second and than I saw my husband try to enter the OR and they wouldn't let him in and I started crying and the next thing I remember is felling an injection through my IV and someone pressing on my neck and falling asleep. Than waking up. So no I didnt have a pleasant experience, I cant even say i had an okay experience. Unacceptable!
