Dr. Cole and his staff are excellent.

Dr. Cole is the worst kind of Doctor a patient could have a procedure done by. He performed a procedure on Weds, did not answer multiple phone calls placed by the patient, who was experiencing increasing spinal pain, from Friday through Sunday, and family. On Monday, the patient called the practice the doctor worked with only to be told that Dr. Cole left the practice the previous Friday, two day’s after the procedure but never mentioned this the the patient, and would not have a working phone to contact him until Weds. After the patient insisted one of the practice’s doctors return his call, the same person, a physicians assistant, called back and said he’d just spoken with Dr. Cole in person because Dr. Cole had in fact been at the practice but had since left for good. The patient then went to the hospital for treatment. Dr. Cole was paged but never responded. The patient lodged a complaint against him. Dr Cole deserves a -100 rating but there is no option. Never let this doctor… treat you or anyone you care about. He is in the wrong profession.

Dr Cole has been my surgeon and care giver for the last 5 years. An exceptionally gifted surgeon and caring human being. Eliminated my pain and restored my mobility.....my life. Dr Cole's genuine caring and manner makes you feel like you're the only patient he is caring for. Humble and unassuming - Dr Cole is " the Doctor one keeps ! "

Dr. Cole is a great surgeon. But I was/am a little disappointed in the lack of information provided to me before and after my spinal fusion. I had no idea what I was getting into long term and wasn't even sure what questions to ask. After surgery, when asking about certain pain that I was having I got relatively no answer other then do you want painkillers and do more physical therapy. One of those obviously a good option.

Dr. Cole performed a procedure on me which caused my minor scoliosis to progress. As a result, I needed a large spinal fusion three years later. It was the opinion of three top spinal surgeons in NYC that if the original procedure has been performed appropriately I would have not needed the extensive revision surgery.I am not angry at Dr. Cole as I knew his original surgery was well intentioned and I had an excellent professional relationship with him. My mistake was not doing my due diligence in researching my surgical options.My recommendation to everyone is to get more than one opinion, and take advantage of your proximity to the top research hospitals in New York City.

Dr. Brian Cole is wonderful, Operated on my back and I know others who he has operated on...We all LOVE him
