Dr. Brian Allee, DO

I've been a patient in the past & have no complaints on the care I've received. I don't see a general practitioner very often as most my health issues are related to my lupus. I called today to see about getting an appointment this week for a followup from an er visit. She said since it's been so long I would be considered a new patient which I have no problem with. Keep in mind she did look me up in their system to determine this so it's not like there is no info on me even though time wise I'd be new. She asked for insurance info & I gave it to her. She said I would have to submit a form for the dr. to review at his convenience since I'm on a Medicare advantage plan then I would receive a call to get scheduled. I've never had to do this for any other gp or specialist but ok. So I asked her some additional questions regarding a rough time frame on possibly getting in this week letting her know I have a possible fractured wrist that needs follow-up. She became rude on the phone stating… that's policy & I can pick up a form to fill out. When I told her I apologize for asking questions & that there's no reason to be rude she started she's the only 1 there & had 5 phone lines ringing & several people at the window waiting. Had she kindly asked me to hold I'd have had no problem. It's not my fault they're short handed. I've worked in doctors offices, law firms & insurance offices & no matter how many clients you have waiting on you being the only 1 there doesn't give you a free pass to be rude. I called care first wellness in the same town & they scheduled an appointment for me no problem for this week. These people are the 1st line of contact typically for a new/current patient & being rude doesn't make someone want to come to your office regardless of the great care received from a provider. A refresher course in proper client/office etiquette may be of help to this apparently overworked individual so business isn't lost.

Very very nice family doctor. He takes the time to listen to patient and really tries to get to know them and what they are there for. I would definitely recommend going to him!

Dr. Allee does not just "treat your symptoms," like SOOO many other doctors do that I have seen over the years. He works very hard to try and find the CAUSE of my pain, in order to improve my quality of life! He will quickly order the tests you need done and has no problem referring you to another doctor. He is a very humble, kind, and sincerely caring man.

Dr. Allee has been our family doctor for years. He's compassionate, patient and thorough and always willing to answer all our crazy health related questions. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Brian Allee is, absolutely... positively, the best doctor in this area of Oklahoma! In fact, I've never encountered one better anywhere! In particular, his bedside manner is second to none! 4 STARS!
