My friend recommended him and I couldn't have been happier with my 1st experience in his office. Ran on time (love the late arrival policy - hate waiting just because others can't get there on time), listened to my woes and asked great questions, never felt rushed and yet the whole thing from intake to checkout and labs was highly efficient. Really can't say enough positive things and would recommend highly.
Amazing physician. Thorough, very up to date. He doesn't rush through the appointment and talks to you directly rather than spending the whole time typing into the EMR like most docs these days. He is very empathetic and super nice.
He is an amazing doctor! He knows what he does! Impressive!
Smart, great insight, nice personality. Primary care office is professional. Dermatology skills are A
First rate care - exceedingly personable and skilled at procedures, knowledgeable, with great follow through.
Dr Ash was insightful and kind, and I felt immediately at ease. He was very good at taking a thorough history and addressing problems that I'd actually come to accept after many years of being told by other doctors that these were normal developments for a (take your pick...) woman, pregnant woman, late 20s busy professional, early 30s business professional, person of a certain ethnicity, etc. Turns out this was not the case, and Dr Ash was smart and thorough enough to help work through these things and make diagnoses that led (finally) to effective therapeutics. I also like that he does most things himself instead of referring me all over the place to different doctors for a minor procedure here and a certain test there - he does many things himself that I'd gotten used to being sent around town for.
Dr Ash is an excellent clinician and very up to date with best medical practice. He combines common sense with up to date medicine. He is meticulous in his physical exams - he makes me feel that his care is thorough and well considered. His immediate follow up after an abnormal mammogram and then expediting my follow up care was incredibly reassuring and reduced my wait time and therefore anxiety greatly. I'm so glad I found such an excellent primary care doctor. I'm an MD myself and very picky!
Great, caring, very helpful, would recommend to anyone
I would not use this facility if they paid me. While the doctor may be all that others have written. His office manager Linda is quite the opposite. When I called to make an appointment, they neglected to tell me they moved, even though I stated that I selected this doctor based on his W. Roxbury location. I had to jump through a myriad of hoops to get this doctor listed as my PCP, only to find out he is not in a convenient location for me anymore. The office manager did not thing but degrade me because i was angry. I used the word D___n. She chastised me for that. I told her she was intentionally switching the focus of the conversation instead of addressing the real problem, in-efficiency in her office. She could not be responsible for her staffs in-efficiency. Why would I see a doctor who's staff lacks such basic skills as being responsible for what they do. She apologized, but there was not one shred of authenticity in that apology. It was said because it was expected of her, period. She could have cared less about me being inconvenienced by her staffs in-efficiency. In her world, apologizing and offering to make an appointment for me was sufficient. NOT for me.
Dr Ash was the perfect doctor for a busy young professional. His office is in a nice location, he ran on time and he was professional and understanding about my needs for efficiency and privacy. I'll choose him as my new PCP.
excellent communication and follow up, very professional
Dr Ash was my PCP for 2 years, and I wish he could still be (he moved out of network). He asked me thoughtful questions and took his time explaining things to the degree I expected. I never felt spoken down to, judged or inhibited when it came to asking questions. His examinations showed consideration for my time. He wrapped up visits by offering a summary of what he felt we'd discussed, and reviewed options if this was relevant. I feel very confident in his caring, and recommended him to a friend who thanked me later. I was very disappointed to hear that he'd left, and will follow him for sure if he takes new patients!
Dr Ash is an excellent physician, and all-around very solid human being! After a few other decent but average clinicians, Dr Ash was recommended to me by a girlfriend during the first time I was ever really sick for a while and nobody seemed able to help - he immediately rattled off a list of possibilities and within a week had diagnosed an unfortunately chronic condition others had missed. He has taken great care of me since then. I've recommended him to lots of my friends and their spouses, and he seems to be the go-to for lots of doctors' own families. He makes me feel comfortable, even with a minor (ie dumb) concern, and makes sure it's nothing before saying so. I'll follow him anywhere!
Dr Ash is thorough and seems to be on the cutting edge. He is very approachable regarding personal topics. He has sensitivity about cultural differences and expresses an interest in learning what is comfortable for us both.
I feel very comfortable with Dr Ash.
Very professional. A solid choice.
I need an X-ray. No you don't .I need antibiotics. I'm sick. No you don't. Thanks for helping me. You're welcome. Huh?
Dr Ash picked up on my academic troubles as being due to a medical problem and a depression even though I didn't feel particularly sick or sad. He is really smart and applies it to his profession, and he is always kind but professional in my experience. It is hard to get appointmnets, but there is a reason for that. Thanks Dr Ash!
thanks for telling it to me like it is. you didn't agree with me or my last doctor's prescriptions and i left without getting what i wanted. even though i didn't like that at the time, i liked the honesty. i would go back for that reason.
Good is the doctor, the care once you get in, geared to young people, short wait.Bad is the waiting room environment, confusion from staff.
The best doctor ever. Well rounded, down to earth, really seems to care about helping me and having things done right. His staff rave about him, which says a lot.
