Friendly doctor and staff, but I do not recommend him for double eyelid surgery. He performed multiple surgeries on me and I ended up with an insignificant crease and terrible scarring. I ended up going to another surgeon to fix my crease. They were shocked at what a poor job he did.

My daughter received facial trauma and Dr. Willoughby came in in 12am. He had the most excellent bedside manner and fully explained everything that he was doing. She felt completely at ease. I cannot say enough about his expertise...and without arrogance. His staff followed up promptly on multiple calls that I made with questions. This was one the best and most positive experiences we have ever dad.

Very friendly staff and doctor, but the reason why I gave him a one star was due to the results I got from my double eyelid surgery. I had a total of 3 surgeries performed by Dr. Willoughby (all for my double eyelid), and I ended up with a VERY small crease and tons of scarring. It's been 3 years since my last surgery with him, and the scars are very noticeable. I ended up going to another plastic surgeon to get my crease fixed. The crease Dr. Willoughby made was so poorly done that the other doctor couldn't even use it as a guide line or work with it and ended up making a whole new crease above his. While I can't say whether or not he's a good surgeon when it comes to other procedures, I can say that he is NOT the doctor to go to when it comes to double eyelid surgery (especially if you are Asian).

I had a great experience with Dr. Willoughby in 2009. He is not rushed and really listens and considers your individual case before deciding on a course of treatment. I really trusted him and he delivered respectful, professional care. Also, his office is beautiful.

An orbital decompression is not a "minor surgery". I booked consultations with several surgeons and compared their education, continuing education, and experience. Dr. Willoughy is professional, knowledgeable and most importantly...COMPETENT. EXCELLENT surgeon and physician!
