Horrible Dr. show details Horrible Dr.
by One mad woman on Feb 15th, 2013

After waiting over an hour to be seen by Dr.Bruce Branin I finally was called in by his nurse who was "okay" but I would defiantly say she looked like she hates being there. Anyway, after waiting over an hour in the waiting room I waited 30 min the room. I peeked out and there he was talking to drug reps. So now it has been almost 2 hours and the Dr finally decided to see me. He sat down and never even made eye contact and as I began to tell him my problem his phone rang and he answered right while I was talking to him. He walked out of the room to talk on the phone then came back in and I was having pain and he said I needed blood work done and walked out? Umm? Blood work for pain? I would think X-ray? He wasn't even listening... I will never go again!!!!!!!!

Not only did I have to wait over and hour to be seen but once he decided to stop chatting with the drug reps he came into the room and I started to tell him what was going on and his phone rang and he said excuse me and answered his phone right there and spoke to whoever for about ten minutes and from what it look like to me it was not an emergency. Finally he got off the phone and I remember something else that was wrong and he told me I had to reschedule another appointment because it wasn't what I scheduled for. He didn't care at all. I will never go there again

Doctor's Response

The average wait for my patients is 15 minutes and I rarely spend any time with drug reps. In fact, we have limited their visits to 2per day. I feel very upset that this person felt this way, as the majority of my patients I've seen for years and they share their satisfaction with our services. I wish these concerns were voiced to me at the time, and I welcome this person to contact me to discuss this, as customer care and compassion are qualities we stress at our practice
