Dr. Bruce James Wallace

It took me 3 weeks to get an appt for a bladder exam. I arrived on time and was taken back to the exam room. The nurse prepped me for the bladder exam and said he would be right in. I waited for 23 minutes for Dr. Wallace to show up. His nurse came in after 15 minutes to tell me that he was delayed with another patient & "Quote" Guy stuff you know. And she raised the center of the table so I could rest my legs out of the stirrups. Then I heard him go into another room and greet another patient. I had never met the Dr. up to this point. When he finally did show up 23 minutes after I had been prepped for the bladder exam it was obvious that he had not even read my chart and why I was there. When he inserted the scope I about hit the ceiling in pain and he said "Quote" I don't why you are in so much pain, I do 20 of these a day! He was either having a very bad day or he needs to schedule less patients or just plain retire.

My father is one of Dr. Wallace's patients. While at Renown Regional Medical Center, my father was doing very poorly due to medical errors made in the ER (not by Dr. Wallace). My faith in the Reno medical community was shattered. I contacted Dr. Wallace at my father's request as he was my father's urological surgeon - who immediately came to the hospital that day and got involved in my father's care. He was kind, caring, spent time reviewing the case and showed tremendous respect for my father. That was not the case with any of the other doctors we were dealing with at Renown. Dr. Wallace is the only reason I have faith that my father's health will improve. My family is extremely grateful to him.
