I was diagnosed with Mycobackterium Absessus just recently. My care has been transferred to Dr. Petronaci at the U of R in Rochester. I went with a list of questions That I also sent her in advance of my appointment. She was compassionate, listened to me, wrote down medical terms and explained what everything meant to me. She made me feel comfortable that I would get the best care and she would be there for me. I have a tough road ahead not I’m confident I’m in good hands. I would give my doctor a grade of A.

She was very professional in every regard and I trust her judgement in treatment planning.

They don't appear to have any idea how to run an office. Dr. P was nice enough, but ordered the wrong tests, didn't follow up, didn't seem able to target the problem or define a road to treatment. She did not appear insulted, though, that I went to a different doctor, and she did apologize for the confusion in the office.

No test results on My Chart, no follow up appt., takes days and repeat phone calls to get an appt, waste of my time.
