Dr. Givens is fantastic; the only reason I am with Southern Berks Family Medicine. I have had nothing short of bad interaction with Betty in billing. Her group used wrong billing codes which consequently resulted in a significant overcharge to me; a mistake that could have been easily avoided and/or corrected. Rather than show any sort of sympathy or compassion, she was verbally rude & upset that we took her time; so bad that the insurance representative even commented negatively. She is mean spirited, insensitive, and unprofessional; she may be the single reason my family chooses to change physicians. Dr. Givens and the Southern Berks medical practice should re-evaluate their hiring choices.

Office staff is more concerned with your money than they are with your health. The doctors in the office are very nice. My family will never go back simply because of the women in the front of office. They belittle you by talk over you and are rude
