I started with heavy pain on my chest at night and presented at the West Chester Hospital in the morning. It was not long before I was asked about a condition that was new to me. I was visted by one of Dr. Hattemer's partners who explained to me what I needed. It was a very busy day, but Dr. Hattemer cane to my room to see me and then take me to surgery. I was lightly sedated and my proceedure, which included a stent was done. He spoke with my daughter and explained my proceedure. I was cared for in recovery and offered dinner and taken to a room for the night. I had more tests the next day and was discharged that afternoon. Once Dr. Hattemer did his work, I was pain free and feeling great. I highly recommend him as a kind, caring and skillful doctor, especially when your heart hurts.

This doctor is fantastic! He listens to you, He encourages questions and explains things in terms you can understand. Very thorough ; very kind. His office staff is the same! I highly recommend the cardiologist!

Dr. Hattemer is probably the best cardiologist in the entire Cincinnati Metro area. He has been my mom's cardiologist since 2001 and I just started seeing him this year. He IS the reason why my mom is still alive. I work in healthcare and send all of my patients to him if they are looking for a cardiologist. I was ecstatic when I found out he was back from his sabbatical from Mercy and is now with UC Health. He listens to you, he spends time with you (neither my mom nor I have ever felt rushed), and he is truly gifted! His entire staff absolutely adores him; which tells you, he treats them very well. I hope he realizes, he will never be allowed to retire. :)
