Dr. Chester A Messick

This man should not be a doctor. BOTH times that I have come to him, he has made me feel belittled for my health concerns. He talks over me, dismisses any issues that I am having, and makes me feel like a bother. If you are not willing to hear your patients out and take their concerns seriously- whether they are major concerns or not - then you have NO BUSINESS being a doctor! When I stood up to him the second time for how he was treating me, he flat out said I shouldn’t come back! Very unprofessional. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR if you want to be listened to and cared for!

Cynical and rude and really doesn’t want to be bothered by a new patient. Very threatened when a brought my RN wife with me and shut down when we asked any questions. He is just going through the motions and passing the time. If you want a motivated and caring Dr, keep looking. He is not either.

This was my first time seeing this doctor. I had read google reviews of several different doctors in my area in my network insurance. I waited less than 5 minutes in lobby, was taking back by nurse and had vitals taken with short medical history. I waited another 5 minutes and Dr. Messick came into see me. He gave me thorough check and listened to any concerns I had. I never felt rushed and felt he really cared about what I had to say. Dr even made a few jokes and I enjoyed the visit.

Dr. Messick and his entire staff have been always professional, compassionate at every visit. They show genuine concern and are all very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Dr. C. Messick.

Did not and would not perform simple chest xray with coughing uncontrollable and ongoing..husband's cancer identified later.. he would also not refer to specialist. I am an RN, this is unacceptable.

Been seeing him several years. Always pleasant and thorough. It's great to have a family doc that I can count on remembering me and taking the time to explain things relating to my health.

I was a patient of Dr. Messick for a couple years then we left the area for 3 years. On my return we bought a home but it wasn't near the practice so I went to another hospitals group. It didn't go well. My health is important to me so I decided to drive the 76 mile r/t to go back to Dr. Messick. He listens, He thinks, he gives you time. Overall, nice guy-good doc.

Very helpful and friendly. I would recommend him to anyone. You can talk to him and he listens.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr Messick ever since he started practice in Pace We have found him to be very through in his exams and he really explains all of your test results so that you can understand them. I would recommend him to everyone.
