Dr. Craig Austin Nielsen, MD

This doctor does not send statements or reciepts to patients. He is also unreachable via telephone. After having surgery I could not afford to pay his bill in full. I sent monthly payments for several months, I never recieved statements or reciepts for payments made. When trying to reach his office by phone, I reached an answering machine and my calls were never returned. Since he did not have the courtesy to send statements or reciepts reflecting payments I had made or balance owed, I stopped sending payments hoping his office would contact me so I could find out my remaining balance. This was never done, two years after later the account was sent to a collection agency for collection. Had he or his staff sent me reciepts/statements as any reputable business does, he would have been paid in a timely manner and it would not have been necessary for him to send the account to a collection agency.
