Dr. Craig Silverman, MD

Dr. Craig Silverman is a neurologist and oncologist who specializes in radiation oncology, bringing 48 years of experience to his practice. He earned his medical degree from Northwestern University and completed his residency training in diagnostic radiology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital South Campus. Dr. Silverman holds board certification in therapeutic radiology from the American Board of Radiology. He provides care in English.

Dr. Silverman practices at UofL Hospital and sees patients at locations including UofL Health – Brown Cancer Center and UofL Health – Jackson Street Outpatient Center in Louisville, Kentucky. His expertise focuses on treating head and neck cancers and oral cancers. He also addresses swallowing difficulties in his patients. Dr. Silverman performs CT scans and provides external beam radiation therapy as part of his comprehensive cancer treatment approach.
