Dr. Dan C Rice, MD

I was a patient for many years. Dr. Rice takes the needed time, and is familiar with my many medical issues. I moved to San Antonio, and have not been happy with the Gastr I went to here. I am going back to my old friend, Dr. Dan Rice. I trust him.

I found Dr. Rice to be thoughtful and knowledgeable, but above all, honest!

Dr Rice is excellent. He is very attentive and listens to what you say. He is cautious and works with you to figure out what is going on. My husband and I highly recommend Dr. Rice.

Dan Rice is a good guy who knows how to communicate and set people at ease. Great sense of humor.

I found the office staff and procedures set up for efficiency which they definitely are ! Unfortunately, any attempts at deviating from their routine seems to throw them into a tizzy - Frankly, I did not have a problem with it though. The staff in the procedure area were excellent - personable, efficient and highly competent. Having a Board certified Anesthesiologist overseeing the care provided is a reassuring factor as well. Dr. Rice is competent, thorough and personable - I would recommend him and the practice for services in this specialty.

Missed a serum sickness-like reaction to mesalamine, resulting in me being ill for weeks.

DR. Rice and his staff are excellent. I was very pleased with his consultation and the procedure, as well as that of his staff (Nancy, Michelle, Chris, Don and the window staff who's names I don't recall.) I have had several of these in the past and this group has their stuff together! If I didn't live here, I would travel here next time I need this done.
