I was physically assaulted by Dr. Daniel Derman on 9/10/11 at 2:45 pm. After sternly refusing to accept a throat culture, the doctor grabbed me by the shirt and yanked me forward, insisting I close my eyes and accept the culture. After I refused again, he threw the test kit at the wall and stormed out of the room. I felt extremely uncomfortable and not in the least bit safe in the presence of this doctor. I refuse to ever go back to this doctor as I do not feel safe being in a room with this highly tempermental man who treats patients with an extreme lack of professionalism.
