Dr. Daniel Kingsbury, MD

Dr . Kingsbury is my daughter's rheumatologist. He is a very kind person, concerned about all of the conditions that derived from her medical conditions, he is very professional, patient, knowledgeable about his field, overall a great doctor. He answers all the questions and addresses all the concerns we have. Every time we see him he has a joke to tell. It lightens the mood and it makes my daughter feel comfortable about talking to him. He always mails the lab work with notes on the values of her blood work so I understand what they mean. Courtney is a great assistant, she always returns my calls and she is very nice and courteous.

My daughter was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis when she was 2 years old. This was a very tough time for us and we were extremely lucky to have Dr. Kingsbury as my daughter's doctor. Dr. Kingsbury is kind, compassionate, patient, smart, informed, and understanding. He takes his time during the appoinments and doesn't rush through them. My daughter is 4.5 now and she absolutely loves him!! She actually looks forward to the appointments. Dr. Kingsbury also has an amazing bedside manner. He explains all the procedures and treatments and never forces anything. He respects the parent's opinion and never makes you feel dumb. He has done about 4 joint injections on my daughter and lets just say that my daughter is so comfortalbe with the doctor that she goes into the procedure room by herself and is not even scared when they put her to sleep for the procedure. Dr. Kingsbury is an amazing doctor and we are sooooo lucky that his clinic is in our state. I would personally drive… hours and hours if that ment my daughter could be seen by him. PS. My daughter gets blood work done every 3 months because of her medication and Dr. Kingsbury mails me the lab work with handwritten notes all throughout the lab values, just to make sure I understand everything.

Dr, Kingsbury was patient, thoughtful, kind, and really went above and beyond to provide great care for my daughter. He is professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to make sure we understood a very gray area. Also, his staff was very helpful and helped to meet special needs. We see a lot of doctors throughout the year, and Dr. Kingsbury is definitely one that stands out and made a difference.

Dr Kingsbury has been treating my child for about 6 years. Not only is he a wonderful doctor, he has aligned himself with a wonderful staff and office personnel. When you go in for a visit, he instantly puts you at ease. The children love him because he talks to them on their level and, more importantly, he listens to them. He takes the time to explain things to you in a way that you can understand. My son thinks he is "the coolest". Courtney is prompt in getting back to you if you have to call with a concern. She is a wonderful assistant. We have to travel from out of town and, if we have to see more than one doctor, the office staff is marvelous about setting your appts. for you so you can get it all done in the same day. I have never had a bad experience with Dr Kingsbury or his staff in over 6 years--I wonder how many people can say that about their doctors? My son is almost 18 so the doctor has found him an adult doctor to go to--it makes us sad to be leaving the care… of Dr Kingsbury--but, I know that no matter how old James gets, he will always feel like he can call the doctor and talk to him. We are lucky to have been in Dr Kingsbury's care, all of these years--if you are looking for a pediatric rheumatologist, you won't find a better one in the country. Do I sound biased? I hope so!

Dr. Kingsbury has a very good bedside manner with kids. While I can't just call and immediately talk to someone to make an appointment, the wait times are minimal. Staff is nice and will always print out coloring sheets for my daughter. Overall very pleased.

Dr. Kingsbury is a wonderful doctor. He has excellent knowledge in his field. My daughter has been seeing him for 4 years, with great results from her condition. He is up to date with the most recent medications and procedures and studies that are available. If your child has him for a doctor, you are very lucky to have found him.
