Dr. Daniel Martin Wik, MD

Dr Wik is who turned my life around and given me the ability to move on and accomplish more things. In the last 2 years my healthcare from him has been outstanding. Dr. Wik will actually listen to you when you are in pain and not write you off as a drug seeker. He will sit with you for an hour if that's what it takes to go through your symptoms. He is the first doctor I've seen that doesn't give you 5 minutes then rushes out the door to the next patient. Dr. Wik and his amazing wife Kathy (a nurse) are an outstanding team. Working together they give their patients physical and emotional care with genuine empathy. I'm truly blessed to have found them.

There are many "experts" like this doctor. They rate themselves and are con iced they know more than any patient they see. Sure, some people will speak well of them, but likely hid real motives are concealed. He is the typical egotistical doctor that does not "play" God. In his own mind he is GOD. MANYBOF TRUE SUFFERING PEOPLE EILL DIE BECAUSE OF SEL RIGHTIUOS NERKS LIKE THIS MAN. WITH THIS SO CSLLED "OPIOID EPIDEMIC" these self appointed hero's are protected by the national stigma. It makes them even more powerful a,d dangerous.

After years of drugs and no relief, I have finally found a doctor who would do all the tests I needed, listens to me, and doesn't make light of my complaints. He and his staff have a sense of humor that fits me perfectly!

I fly in from California once every 5 months for By lateral treatment to my spine. He is the best Doctor for this procedure which includes one injection with a special cathedral/needle into 3 bulging disks. He is humorous, professional and kind.

I have been with Dr Wik for 2 years now. He is a wonderful doctor who cares about you. He takes the time to personally know you and his care will change your life!

My neurologist contacted Dr. Wik and scheduled a nerve block. Dr. Wik did not review the medical records sent to him. In fact, he denied receiving them even though his office called me to schedule the appointment. He became very irate when I said I was there for a nerve block. He proceeded to yell at me in the exam room and at the front desk. He kept yelling “I’m not going to risk my medical license”. I was shocked and confused. I have never been treated like this by someone who claims to be a professional. Then, to add insult to injury, I was billed for his time. He did nothing but yell at me. This man is not stable and should not be practicing medicine.

Dr. Wik is the only pain management specialist that has given me at least some relief and worked through all the red tape via his staff to get my life on a more positive track. Although I know I will need more extensive surgery and additional limits will continue as I age, at least now I don't lose sleep as much and Dr. Wik does what all the other pain management specialists, surgeons' and so called professionals haven't, he listens, and keeps the medications to the bare minimum. That's a plus to me. I highly recommend him, however, other doctor's are beginning to see they need to change or as I noticed their patients are leaving them for this doctor, because he goes the extra mile for his patients.

Dr. Wik has taken care of me for two years. He tested me when other doctors would not. He has given me good care and has listened to me when I have been unable to walk into the office. He has a great sense of humor and a wonderful bedside manner.

After months seeing him, and continuously expressing my concerns, today I am worse than when I walked into his office for the first time. Within about two weeks after my very last visit I ended up in Omaha and was told my case has become severe due to misdiagnosis from my most recent doctor and his treatment of injections have caused more injury. For now I have to focus on the issues at hand so I can hopefully get some relief and PROPER care. I will never recommend nor will I stop telling my experience!

This so called doctor is a control freak, he often oversteps his authority interfearing with other doctors. He charges insulting fee's and the results are in my case poor. I would do some research on this person before you make an appointment. The staff at this business is poor, they treat you like your less then intelligent and get upset easily.
