Dr. David Anthony Derose, MD

I couldn’t believe the negative reviews for Dr. DeRose. He is, without a doubt, the best doctor I’ve ever had. Rude? Hardly. He is chock full of compassion. He is also incredibly knowledgeable and explains everything to you in a simple, empathetic, understandable way.

I agree with the patient who said he was rude. He was one of three ophthalmologists recommended to me. He gave me no chance to ask questions, shushed me and left the room. I found a much better M.D. in Langhorne, an undergrad. of U. of Penn and U. of Penn Medical School who did his residency at Wills Eye, by the name of Dr. Sagun Pendse. He was patient, answered all my questions, did an excellent job at a long overdue surgery of one eye and later did the other eye. What a difference in the two men!

Christina in this office is rude and abrupt and should not be caring for patients. The doctor was not much better

We travel a little over an hour for appointments. Absolutely worth it! His knowledge, compassion and patience is extraordinary. You will feel safe while under his care.

I had a cornea transplant about 9 years ago and so far no major problems. He really takes pride in what he does and I am so grateful to him. He is more than patient and explained everything to me.I must say I think I was one of the most nervous patients he's ever had..

Dr. Derose could not have been more patient with my 86 year young mother. Everyone in the office took the time to make her feel comfortable and listen to her concerns. Thank you.
