Dr. David Edward Dubois, MD

This doctor was assigned to interpret a CT scan I had during a short time I was between jobs with no insurance. Even so, I mailed him a check for payment in full for his sizeable bill, and asked him to give charge me what he charges his insured patients instead of triple that amount that is typically charged my doctors to their unfortunate customers who happen to have a gap in their insurance coverage. He ignored my letter and his office sent me a threatening letter to pay them immediately or be fined an additional 25% on top of the exorbitant bill. I paid him again. In my opinion, this conduct (ignoring and not even replying to a request, and threatening a fine on top of it suggests to me that he is primarily a heartless, rude, unethical, and inconsiderate businessman who also has a medical license.
