Visits to Dr. Eschelbacher often require waiting over an hour for him to get to his office, check messages, and bark at his employees. How anyone is able to work for him is surprising. Just moved to a new facility, and is more concerned with preparing waiting room then having a working toilet. Thought it was a requirement to have a restroom on site for employees and patients. This is not the Stone Age.

This guy is unbelievable and I don't mean in a good way. He totally disregards hospice orders and protocols, ordered bloodwork on DYING patients who are already at the very end of life and on Continuous Care - what ACTIVELY DYING patient needs bloodwork?? And once, I had him order IM INJECTIONS on another ACTIVELY DYING patient on Continuous Care - an injection, folks! And this lady was almost dead at the time. He may make "house calls", but he is lousy with Hospice patient. Some of the ALF owners don't want to lose their paying patients, so they conspire with him to keep their patients alive with all kinds of tests, injections, etc - and Dr Eschelbacher never questions these ALF owners but just orders whatever they ask for, regardless of the patient and THEIR wishes (or their family's wishes). I hope he is NOT near me when my time comes!

This doctor sees patients in their home. Since I found him I don't have to to an office anymoew and get other peoples sickness. Very pleased with Doctor now been his patient for 1 year (43 male)

Wait time for appts is long. Wait time on phone for office staff to get to the call is unacceptable. I have been on hold > 20 minutes many times. Great thing is he makes housecalls.
