Dr. David Owen Hepps

The absolute VIP of medical trash. My mother has a 16mm kidney stone on the top of her urethra for a few months now. She was suppose to get surgery back in November, it was rescheduled due to an "illness" for December which was again rescheduled. Both reschedules were the day of the actual surgery. They informed us she needed an ultrasound before they could even schedule the surgery, however both surgeries were scheduled which would imply they had her ultrasounds. This "doctor" is very shady and quite unprofessional which extends to his entire office as when they called to reschedule, they were rude and short answered to any questions we had. And when I had to call back after the second reschedule I caught the office woman in a lie and she back-peddled into stammering. Usually, Weirton Medical Center is wonderful, but David Hepps is a harsh example of the cancerous reality of the greed of so-called doctors. If you are in serve pain, or perhaps a slight discomfort, do not go to… David Hepps or any of his colleagues.

I had my vasectomy done and within a month I went to the office with discomfort I also felt a lump next to my testicles which was a concern for me but received no concern from the doctor. I went back within a few days because I wasn’t feeling well and while at the office started getting light headed and perspiring. The doctor walked out of the room and left me alone and during that time I blacked out. I was woken by a nurse and taken to the hospital and spent three days in there under a quarantine because the doctors refused to say it was a infection. My wife and I where adamant for antibiotics but they refused to give me any for two days. Finally on the third day they gave me some and was better the same day. Even the office staff seemed unprepared for an emergency situation like that. I would not recommend going here

Dr. Helps is without a doubt one of my favorite physicians At 70 yrs old, I’ve had a lot. He has excellent bed side manner, explains things well and makes you feel comfortable as we go through these sometimes embarrassing situations and tests. I highly recommend him. His staff is same quality.

Unbelievable care given by this practice and PHYSICIAN. The best experience I have had with a group of caring doctor's and nurses. Fix my problem and genuinely cares about his patients.

My husband and I both are patients of Dr. help and find him caring, totally knowledgeable, gentle when needed, willing to give you all the time that you need to ask questions, completely explains everything. We would recommend him , and have, to everyone.

My husband and I have both been treated multiple times plus surgeries byDr Hepps. He is totally professional but down to earth and completely explains in easily understood language what the problem is and what needs to be done. I would highly recommend him.

Even though he is incredibly busy he still spends the necessary time with you and doesn't make you feel rushed. Worth the wait!

Dr. Hepps is great. His staff is NOT. The office staff are quite rude and very unhelpful. They simply refuse to verify appointments and will NOT call to notify of an appointment made a year before. They should all be fired.

I was very impressed by everything surrounding my first visit. I was seen promptly. All the staff was courteous and helpful. Dr. Hepps was very easy to speak with and listened carefully and took all the time necessary to answer my questions and fully explain my options. Professional in every way. Was pleased I had sought him out.

I suppose I should have known, when I just found out I had to have surgery and the doctor seated me next to his secretary to do paperwork, and that secretary GAIL, rudely asked me to basically move from her personal space and sit in a chair about a foot away, I should have known then NOT TO DEAL WITH GAIL. Weeks later when I needed the office to provide some simple paperwork about my procedure to another doctor, GAIL was incredibly rude, and treated me as if I were making some unbelievable demands. She interrupted me, cut me off, raised her voice any time I went to speak. Which was problematic since she never asked for any of the correct information. She is a crazy person. I will never go there again but If you have to, remember you are the patient and DO NOT DEAL WITH GAIL
