Dr. David I Sternberg, MD

I have been trying to get in touch with Sternberg for several months now about follow-up to a procedure he performed. A lot of people are chasing him down. Every office number supplied has been disconnected.

After being late to perform a biopsy procedure on a family member. He appeared spoke very shortly and disappeared, not stopping to make sure I understood. Then we had to wait for a resident to come sign discharge papers because he had not done that the hospital didn't seem to know what procedure he had done they had to go back and check with a nurse who was in there for the procedure. He promised results in 48 hours after two leaving two messages my family member was called and told they had an appointment for the next Monday 9 days after the promised 48 hours. I can see why this doctor only gets one star I'm surprised he gets any.

Michelle goes above and beyond when it comes to assisting patients. Dr Sternberg was wonderful. Tells it like it is and gets you the care you need as fast as possible.

I'm sure Dr. Sternberg is a great doctor, however, like many others, ran into issues with his office staff, from moving appointments to times the doctor wasn't even in, driving over an hour to find this out, then denying it when asked why it was moved, and being very rude and abrupt on the phone when asked about it, brushed it off, and when told the suggestion of in the future double verify appointment dates and times with patients, was told very rudely, "Thank you for telling me how to do my job, your appointment has been cancelled, have a nice day." and was hung up on. This person should keep in mind you are dealing with sick patients and or their family. Cancer is scary and you have ZERO right to be rude for ANY reason, or to argue. Try getting some compassion. Dr. Sternberg needs to hear and see this reviews and get rid of this person.

Never even made it into this doctors office due to the office manager. Would highly suggest the doc to get new staff that knows how to talk to people!

Excellent physician and staff!

Dr. Sternberg is one of the best doctors I have ever had the experience of dealing with. He tells it like it is, with compassion and knowledge of the problem. I would recommend him to everyone. He is humorous, gentle, kind, truthful and ends up feeling like a security blanket. I would be frightened if I did not have him for my doctor. Thank you Dr. Sternberg.
