Rude, dismissive, belittling office staff. Could care less about you or your concerns when you raise a concern. Try to herd you along like cattle. Dr. is even worse!!!! Rude, dismissive, arrogant, egotistical, ignores your requests, won't listen to concerns, flippant, intolerable...I could go on!! WORST dr. I have ever visited. Run as fast as you can away from this quack!! I got my records and I'm never going back!!!!!

He told me twice on two different occasions to discontinue a drug I was not taking. Obviously did not read the chart. For the cystoscopy he used no anesthesia. I was shaking on the way back to the car. It was very painful. For the biopsy he did not wait for the anesthesia to take effect. The Urolift was very degrading with no respect of patient dignity. I was knocked out before or if I was draped. I had nurses wanting me to pee when the little fellow was dripping blood. The office has no concern for HIPPA. The staff raises their voices to speak to old men. I was asked a very personal question in front of another patient. I was scolded for using the restroom instead of the porta-potty in the "scary" room as the staff calls it.

Best doctor ever! Keep up the great work Dr. Kaplan.

I feel like I got screwed over at a car dealership. Vasectomy was ok – a bit more painful during than I expected. Like pulling a nerve from my head through my spine and out my scrotum. Hello - anesthesia? Anyway, with every bit of caution and preparation as I could think of, I called the office ahead of the procedure to understand what my cost would be. I've gotten unexpected overages before and didn't want that to happen again. The providers and insurance are experts at the finger pointing game. Kaplan's billing office called my insurance to determine my cost. Then called me back to say per my policy I was 100% covered. Zero patient responsibility. Oh, if that were only true. You probably know where this is going. Procedure happened. Then a month later I get a bill for 2 more things in addition to the procedure, they admitted are routine. Insurance says the code they provided for benefits approval was only the procedure. Provider office: “you signed the paper that said you agreed to… pay for any additional items”. And there you go. By the nuts! Don’t sign that form. It’s a license to gouge you.

we agreed to a new procedure for prostate. Being unfamiliar how it was done ,ended up he did a different procedure . More expensive and more invasive without my knowledge. But I trusted him and thought he had performed the procedure we had discussed beforehand.I was put to sleep and ended up with a catheter. Done at a surgicenter as opposed to an office procedure Had he done the one we discussed.., Oh I ended up at the hospital with blood infection,

Spent very little time with me and jumped into recommending surgery. He is interested in doing procedures AND interesting enough they are done at a surgery center which I think he owns. Very very shady. After all of the trouble I still had to go see another urologist to get my problem fixed. Avoid at all costs....

Terrible Office staff

I like Dr. K a lot. He is really trying to help me despite the fact I seem to be beyond help! He is super nice.

Dr. Kaplan makes you feel comfortable and explains everything to where can understand it and explains what medicines he is given you.

Dr. Kaplan is a great physician. He is very personable and was willing to spend a lot time with me. He was an excellent listener. His diagnosis as well as treatment has really helped to solve my issues. His office staff is also great- they helped me to get an appointment as soon as possible.
