My son was getting treatment for allergy reaction by his family physician for two days . In the next day morning the allergy symptom was not getting better, so I took him to CHOCâ??s ER. We expected the hospital could do some test to help to rule out the allergy source. His physician at CHOC ER was Dr. Merin. Per Dr. Merin, he was already under treatment by taking the medicine for allergy, testing would not help. So no test was done for him. My son was diagnosed as Acute Allergy Reaction by Dr. Merin and was given one shot and one oral medicine. The diagnosis was the same as family. To me the treatment by Dr. Merin was similar as well by comparing their prescriptions for my son. The treatment time was not over 20 mins. However, Dr. Merin. Charged me over $500 . I tried to contact with him service times,but only a fax number, I think Dr. Merin is the expensive of the Doctor and most difficult to contact after service for me so far.
