Good at treating teen acne

Overall - excellent . Seems a bit arrogant at times and views himself as an elitist, but I'm more concerned with his medical skills and not his personality

I had a red spot on my face that wouldn't disappear after a couple of months. I went to see Dr. Rosenthal who, I noticed, is exceptionally well-trained in dermatology and dermatologic surgery and is listed as a top doctor in the nation in his area of expertise. His friendly staff fit me into his busy schedule because of my concern. Dr. Rosenthal impressed me by his knowledge and warmth: he provided a full evaluation, spent a lot of time with me discussing ways to prevent skin cancer and the need for vitamin D supplementation, was very calming and reassuring, but also most importantly, discovered that I had a skin cancer that he was able to remove surgically and left me with an almost invisible scar! I will happily follow up with him on a regular basis to make sure no more skin cancers develop.

Great doctor, friendly staff, always tries to accommodate my busy schedule, and worth the occasional wait in the office to get truly exceptional, caring, humane medical care. Thank you Dr. Rosenthal!

I have seen Dr. Rosenthal for many years. He is not only very talented and knowledgeable, he is always very responsive. He always takes the time to answer all of my questions, gives excellent advice and listens carefully and compassionately to what I say. His skills are well beyond most dermatologists - I had an ugly scar from some major surgery about which I was self-conscious. He offered to treat it and made it disappear almost completely (and saved me the money I would have had to spend at a plastic surgeon!!). I cannot recommend him too highly.

The most inconsiderate doctor I have ever met. He is never on time for appointments.

Even though you wait to be seen, (bring a book), it is worth it. He is very caring and compassionate and makes you feel that he is there for you and won't let anything happen to you! I highly recommend him.

I would recommend this doctor to everyone! He is knowledgable, caring, sensitive, and LISTENS, then explains in words I can understand thoroghly what is the problem and how to take care of it. He was just as great with my son and my elderly mother. Wow, does he have a great bedside manner.His staff spends the time to coordinate travel arrangements and even calls the pharmacy for my mother if she cannot get the prescription to the pharmacy or pick it up herself. They are all great!

Dr. Rosenthal took the time to listen carefully to me and then performed a thorough exam after which he reviewed not only the issues I brought up but other areas of concern that he found. He actually discovered a skin cancer I was not aware of, biopsied it, followed up with me promptly, and then scheduled a time that was convenient for me to remove it. I commend him as a truly caring "old fashioned" doctor who cares about the whole person in today's world of many less than caring professionals who act more like mere technicians.

My Health Care Provider website recommended Dr. Rosenthal. I have not had a live person answer the telephone when making an appointment in the past 10 years. I was treated with care and respect. Dr. Rosenthal made a thorough exam even though I only came for a specific item. Dr. Rosenthal noticed and treated a potentially dangerous skin cancer that I did not even know I had.I will be sending my children and husband to Dr. Rosenthal as soon as he can fit them in.
