David M Strasser, MD

I am a 49 year old female with a family history of heart disease. I live in Fredonia, New York. My family physician and myself decided it was time for me to see a specialist. She recommended a specialist out of Buffalo. I tried for 3 months to get an appointment with him and could not. That is when I realized that is not the doctor God wanted me to see. I said my prayers, and the next thing I realized I had an appointment with Dr. Strasser, for the very next week. When I got to the office it was only minutes when the nurse took me to a room, it was not much longer when Dr. Strasser came in. I was so blessed to get Dr. Strasser as my cardiologist. He was very polite, excellent bedside manner, so thorough. He read all of the information I had brought to him about my family history, discussed it with me. Then he started his exam. He checked me from head to toe. He explained to me what he found, then answered all of my questions and did not rush me. We did some test's and the staff was so nice and considerate of my other health issues. As soon as the doctor went over my results the nurse called me and told me what they results were. Later that week I had a question about one of my medicines and the nurse got right back to me with what Dr. Strasser's instruction's were. The staff is very polite and also very patient with you. They do not make you feel stupid or rush you. I was more relaxed when I left my appointments because of the way they treated me, with respect and kindness. I am truly grateful that God led me to Dr. Strasser. I feel I am in the best hands possible. With his guidance I am sure I will not have to have open-heart surgery, or have a heart-attack or stroke. Within a couple of days taking my new medicines, I felt 100% better. I have more energy and don't get out of breath as before. I have been losing weight slowly, and my body feels the best it has in years. As I stated early, my family has a huge problem with our hearts and arteries. My grandmother had 9 children in her family. They all died from heart problems. My mother has had 7 operations, because of her heart and circulatory system, and my father had heart disease. So I have been around many cardiologist in my lifetime. 'Thank God' I found Dr. Strasser. I would like to say I also know what an excellent facility Hamot Hospital is. My Grandmother and a Great Aunt both had open heart surgery at Hamot Hospital, and both recovered. So between having Dr. Strasser's as your cardiologist, and Hamot Hospital as your health facility...your are in excellent hands. Call his office today and make an appointment.
