Thank you Dr. Straus! In 1992 I was diagnosed with stage 4 NHL. Because of Dr. Straus' knowledge, experience and treatment, I'm still living a good life in 2025. Dr. Straus set the successful path I am on today! I am forever grateful!

If I could give zero stars I would. His bedside manner was horrible. Did not listen to my symptoms. Scoffed at me multiple times during the intake process. He only gave me one option of treatment and refused to explain the potential side effects. He is an old curmudgeon who should not be practicing medicine. Will never see him again. Just awful!!!

I saw Dr. Strauss in 2008. I thought he was very thorough in all of my visits with him, from my initial consultation and testing through treatments and follow-up visits. He was very knowledgeable and was clear in providing information to me about my ongoing medical condition at the time. He does have a direct, factual and no-nonsense approach in his communications. If you're an overly sensitive person, you could be easily turned off by this, I think. Just for the record, I'm only writing this review because of the reviews I saw that just don't seem fair. I recommend Dr. Strauss.

He has exceptional knowledge in Lymphoma. He's definitely the doctor you want to go to in order to get cured. He will never be your friend. He has a very hard time communicating, but patients go there because of his knowledge, not his bed side manors. If you are looking for a friend, wrong doctor.

He has very poor bed side manors & doesn't listen. He think he the greatest !

Avoid him at all costs. Nasty, arrogant, rude are words that are not strong enough. Find someone else.

I am an NHL patient of Dr. Straus's. I've been seeing him for the past 23 years. I'm still here because of him. He is an excellent doctor. I have kept seeing him during years of living in Hong Kong, the Netherlands and now California.As long as he's practicing I will be his patient. My husband and I count him as one of our most precious blessings.

I would not recommend him. Be careful - he does not do detailed analysis of each patient's idiosyncratic body and circumstances. He is dismissive of questions and of elderly patients. He is callous, cold, and comes across as socially inept as well. He makes hasty decisions and seems bored of his job - must be just looking for his retirement funds to vest. He has no reason to be arrogant because he is below average.

He should not even be called a doctor. He is not a practitioner - he doesn't realize that theory in the real world doesn't always work. And ...
