Dr. Dean Edward Robinson, MD

Just read his article in the National Review, it says it all (without actually saying anything). Someone made him attend a one day seminar (boohoo) and earnestly tried to educate him about bias in healthcare and racially based disparities, and he huffed and quoted Animal Farm at them. Then, he wrote a condescending article about how racism has been eradicated and he should know, he's an old white doctor who grew up in Louisiana. And in the course of this essay, he doesn't mention or refute a single assertion the seminar made, just hems and haws about wokeism and complains that it's somehow going to hinder care to consider issues of privilege and how they might affect his patients. I'm sure he's helped people, but a mental health professional this close-minded is a red flag for me, and a big reason marginalized people struggle to find care providers who fully understand their issues.

He was an excellent physician , and with his help he taught me how to take care of myself and live a normal life. I have a major mental illness, and because of Dr. Robinson I was able to raise my two children as a single mother. I can’t express enough what an outstanding physician he is that truly cares about his patients.
